When it comes to teaching in class, maam Ariar usually lead the students to pray first. And after that she’ll do some greeting to her students and so with her students. Then she’ll re-calling previous material to her students by asking a question and let the students raise their hand to answer the question.

 

After re-calling previous material, she’ll continue her actual teaching with giving some short lecture about new topic that they’ll discussed in general using her slide power point.

Since Senior High School Department use student-centred as teaching methods, usually she will divide the students into a several groups. Then she’ll give a group assignment which is to discuss a topic that given by her. She’ll let the students to have discussion with their group for several minutes. During group discussion, maam Ariar will monitor the students to ensure that every member of the group involved and contribute to the group discussion. After discussion time is over, she’ll let the group present their discussion result in front of the class. But, the teaching method itself depend on the lesson plan, there will be a day where sometime maam ariar give some group assignment which required the students to observe outside of the class, this activity purpose is to ensure the students knowexactly and able to implement what they’ve learn in class.

 

Sometime if there’s a time she’ll give another individual assignment to evaluate their understanding towards the topic. But if there’s no time left, she’ll end up the class by making conclusion with the students, give some exercise to the students, remind the students to pick up any trash in the class, and lead the pray before going home.
