30th August of 2018 will be my last day here in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A city that I love for it’s diversity, richness of a culture and how the javanesse people still keeping and conduct their meaningful manners from generation to generation. Leaving Yogyakarta to Surigao for a month is one of the hardest thing to do. But at the same time I also excited to have new adventure to another country by myself, meeting new people, talking with different language, or even enjoying new food. My adventure start on 14.45 PM at Lempuyangan Train Station, accompanied by my beloved mom and got 2 visitors from my besties, Rafika and Nafis who come to wish me luck and say goodbye. My first journey start with train from Yogyakarta to Jakarta which took 8 hours. 23.40 PM we (me and my mom) arrived in Pasar Senen Station, then we proceed to Soekarna Hatta International Airport , took some rest at the airport with some of fellow sea teacher participant who have same flight to manila as I am. Around 11 AM , we’ve to go to immigration office and get the boarding pass which means it’s time to say goodbye to Indonesia and also my mom.

Then, my second trip is began. Jakarta – Manila, it took 4 hours, and 12 hours transit berfore heading to Cebu for transit and proceed to Butuan as my last flight and riding car for 3 hours to Surigao. 10.13 AM, that’s the historical time as the footage of myself to arrive in Butuan and meet my campus coordinator, sister Nicole and Maam Maricar. It was a delightful and funny first meeting between me and sister Nicole , because we met at the CR (Comfort Room) or we used to say it as toilet. But I glad that finally I met her. She’s very friendly, and welcome me with good hospitality.

Then, we go to the car and proceed to have breakfast at Jollibee, it’s one of favourite fast food restaurant in Philippines. After filling our tummy with delicious chicken from Jollibee, we continue our trip to Surigao, my new home. We’re arrived at Saint Paul University Surigao around 13.00 PM right after we woke up from our nap. As soon as I arrived in Saint Paul, we met Mam Galaora, principal secretary in Junior High School of Saint Paul University Surigao. They welcome me with a very warm greetings and good hospitality , then they took me to the dorm which located at the 3rd floor in Saint Paul New Site campus building. As I arrived at the dorm, I was shocked cause I never expect that the dorm will look like this. The dorm look so nice, there are 10 rooms and nice living room with tv , dinning table, two couches and an air conditioner. As the first member who arrived at the dorm, I have a special privilege to choose my own room and I’m so excited with my tired but awesome journey. While I started unpacking my luggage, a two filippino girls came to say hi to me , their name is Anne and Stella. They’re delegation from Saint Paul who will be going to my university, Islamic University of Indonesia.

My excitement is getting increased because of Anne and Stella. We discuss lots of things about our countries and universities until dinner time, we went to “Ing Manasal” a fast food restaurant to eat some barbeque chicken. We go to Ing Manasal by three cycle, Philippines’s traditional transportation which only cost 7 peso . In Ing Manasal, we’re having some quality times before Anne and Stella leaving Surigao for Indonesia. We’re arrived at the dorm around 8, then Anne and Stella say goodbye to go back to their home while I prepare to go to bed cause I have to wake up early pick up my new friends from Pattimura University in Butuan Airport.
